Complete Guide to LoL Object Management — Dragons, Baron, and Elder Dragons

대학대전토토

Objective management is one of the most crucial factors in determining victory in League of Legends. Even with a high kill count, surrendering an objective often leads to loss. From Dragon, Baron Nashor, and Elder Dragon, we'll explore the characteristics of each objective and how to manage them effectively.

Dragon

Dragons appear in the south of the canyon starting at the 5-minute mark, granting permanent buffs to the entire team when slain. Dragon types are randomly selected each game and include Infernal (attack damage/ability power), Mountain (armor), Ocean (health regeneration), Cloud (ultimate ability cooldown reduction), Hextech (CC effect), and Chemitech (damage reduction). If a team slays four dragons of the same type, they acquire the "Dragon Soul," granting powerful special effects.

Dragon Management Strategy

It's crucial to secure peripheral vision 30 seconds to a minute before the dragon spawns. Wards should be placed in the river (dragon pit entrance, enemy jungle corridor) to anticipate the enemy team's approach. Since the dragon is best taken down without team fights, strategies like quickly killing it while maintaining lane advantage or stealing it when the enemy engages incompetently are effective.

Baron Nashor

The Baron spawns in the northern part of the Rift at 20 minutes, and upon defeating him, he grants the entire team the "Hand of Baron." This buff strengthens surrounding minions, making them extremely effective at pushing lanes and destroying structures. Conquering the Baron typically allows you to quickly push through one or two towers and inhibitors.

Baron is a powerful and high-health player, so avoid rushing him when your team is small or low on health. If an enemy approaches during Baron, be prepared to quickly engage or steal him with a Smite.

Elder Dragon

The Elder Dragon, which appears after 20 minutes and the Dragon Soul spawns, grants a powerful "Elder Dragon Buff" upon defeat. This buff includes an "Execution" effect that instantly kills enemies below a certain health level, and this buff can often end a single battle. Because the Elder Dragon appears late in the game, vision control and team positioning are especially crucial.

The team that consistently secures objectives ultimately wins. Developing the habit of prioritizing objectives over kills is key to improving your skills. University Daejeon Toto
